Lithuanian Human Services Council of the USA, Inc.
Lithuanian Human Services Council of the USA, Inc., a part of Lithuanian American Community, Inc., provides social assistance to Lithuanians in Chicago area and nationwide.
A not-for-profit corporation, registered in the state of Illinois (TEIN E9990-4731-14), it provides support for new Lithuanian immigrants and their families. It also provides care and assistance to non-English speaking senior citizens of Lithuanian descent, through the Senior Center, located at the organization’s headquarters in Chicago’s Marquette Park area.
Since 1997, the Lithuanian Human Services Council has also been a designated provider of the Marquette Park Special Services Area residential security program, implemented in conjunction with the City of Chicago.
